Mustang Alumni donates and creates several scholarships

Maple Education Foundation-Non-Profit-OrganizationThis week Maple Alumni, William James “Bill” Murphy(’64), sent a generous donation of $9000 to the Maple Education Foundation to create several scholarships. Bill has created one scholarship in the name of departed friends and classmates: Nick and Joe Witcraft, Dennis Papp, Roger Mickouski and Eugene Nagy. Next was a scholarship for the fine MHHS office workers Mrs. Helen Pfleger and Marie A. Murphy and one for 1965 Class member: Ms. Joanne Pfleger. Lastly a scholarship for his MHHS sweetheart Ms. Mildred Freeman (Class of 1962).

Bill is encouraging fellow alumni to make donations to help the leaders of tomorrow. Bill is currently a proud American living in Panama City, Panama and would love to hear from other Maple Alumni at his e-mail address: wjm6350@hotmail.com

The Mustang Fund

We need YOU!

The newly created Maple Education Foundation is raising funds for its programs.  All funds raised will go into the Mustang Fund and this year marks our Inaugural Mustang Fund Drive.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 through donations from our alumni.  We are asking alumni to donate a minimum of $1 for each year since their graduation from Maple Heights. Of course, any amount, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.  All monies raised will go toward scholarships, teacher grants and Foundation projects.

Why should I donate?

The Foundation was created by Maple Alumni who want to help maintain Mustang Pride.  Your donation can assist students now and lead to a very successful life.  The personal pride in helping others is something that needs no explanation!  You can help others and create the leaders of tomorrow. YOU can make a difference in someone’s life! The Foundation takes great pride in its Maple heritage and hope that all Mustang Alumni will help this wonderful cause.

Thank you in advance for wanting to make a difference!
